Soltanov: Climate goals are still far from achievable

After the adoption of the Paris Agreement, the world has already covered a significant distance, from the transformation of energy issues in Asia to the Caribbean region and renewable energy sources in Africa, Elnur Soltanov, the chief executive of COP29, said.

According to Report, speaking at a high-level event on global climate action "United Leadership for Accelerating Action to Create a Climate-Resilient Future", Soltanov said that this is a direct result of the decisions that didn't just remain on paper.

"But let's be honest, the climate is changing," said Soltanov.
