Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has criticized some European countries for their absence at the COP29 climate conference, stating that their decision is driven by political motives.
"I don't care if they came or not, the main thing is that we are here, and that we will continue to come here in the future," Vucic told journalists, according to Report.
The Serbian leader emphasized that by skipping the summit, the West is effectively rejecting the opportunity to contribute to the resolution of international conflicts.
"They could have held a thousand bilateral meetings and negotiations, but they didn't come. This summit is very important, especially in a situation where it is necessary to stop major conflicts, such as those in Ukraine and the Middle East," Vucic said.
