Seminar on renewable energy implementation held at COP29 National NGO Forum Pavilion

An interactive seminar on the application of renewable energy was held within the framework of the "Promotion of Renewable Energy Sources in Entrepreneurship Against Climate Change" project at the COP29 in Baku, Report informs.

The event took place at the National NGO Forum Pavilion located in the COP29 Green Zone.

The main goal of the seminar, conducted by Borivoje Matic, director of the Serbian Sustainable Development Association, is to strengthen the fight against climate change by promoting the use of renewable energy sources among entrepreneurs and specialists in agriculture and industrial sectors.

At the beginning of the event, Sakina Babayeva, chairwoman of the Board of the Association for the Development of Women Entrepreneurship in Azerbaijan, stated in her speech that the project consists of 4 activity directions: energy consumption and carbon emissions, challenges for women and men entrepreneurs in agriculture and industrial sectors, youth response to climate change, and unpromoted renewable energy sources.

Later, Indian expert Rajani Chandra D'Mello spoke about the positive changes in the healthcare sector from the application of energy sources.

Finally, it was noted that the series of events would continue for several days.
