The experience and collaboration achieved during the Climate Week in London have played a crucial role in shaping the structure of the Baku Climate Week, Nigar Arpadarai, UN Climate Change High-Level Champion for COP29 Azerbaijan, said.
According to Report, speaking at the opening of the Baku Climate Week, Arpadarai emphasized the event's importance as a significant step towards the upcoming COP29.
"In just a couple of weeks, we will be welcoming the entire climate community to Baku for COP29," Arpadarai stated. "Our vision for COP is clear: to amplify ambitions and create the conditions for action to tackle the climate crisis."
Arpadarai further highlighted that hosting the Baku Climate Week will contribute to the development of climate actions at both regional and international levels.
