Mukhtar Babayev: Innovative strategies boost finance and investments

Innovative strategies boost funding and investments in conservation, restoration, and sustainable management of biodiversity, Azerbaijan's Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Mukhtar Babayev stated at a roundtable dedicated to biodiversity protection held on the sidelines of COP29 in Baku, Report informs.

According to Babayev, public-private partnerships and environmental solutions are at the core of efforts to achieve the 2030 goals, which include protecting at least 30% of the planet's land and oceans and biodiversity, increasing climate change resilience, and ensuring sustainable development for future generations.

"By investing in environmental solutions, we can expand economic opportunities, increase resilience, and lay the foundation for a sustainable future," said the minister.
