For several years, Azerbaijan has been attracting the attention of the world community with various projects to host COP29, President of the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29), Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Mukhtar Babayev said on the "Target" program on the AzTV channel, Report informs.
"For several years, our country has attracted the attention of the world with various projects in the field of green energy to host this event. Our country is implementing the most advanced projects in this area. The head of state attaches special importance to the projects being implemented in this direction, which have also attracted the interest of the whole world. Demonstrating its leadership in this area, Azerbaijan invited all countries to gather here in November," Babayev noted.
The minister added that Baku has created all possible conditions for holding negotiations on climate change.
