Muhamed Abdulsalam: Religion can support reducing effects of climate change

Religion can help reduce the effects of climate change, Mohamed Abdulsalam, Chairman of the Muslim Council of Elders, said in response to Report's question at a press conference dedicated to the conclusion of the Global Summit of Religious Leaders.

According to him, religious leaders should be provided with conditions to work in this regard:

"If we want sustainable stability and health, we must continue the joint struggle. Religion has the power to positively touch all problems in life. It is important to have platforms for religious leaders to raise their voices in such initiatives. In this regard, Azerbaijan is also an exemplary country where religious denominations live together in peace and harmony."
