The culture ministers of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Azerbaijan, and Brazil, the host nations of COP28, COP29, and COP30 respectively, convened a trilateral meeting in St. Petersburg, Russia, Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Culture told Report.
The primary objective of the meeting was to determine the program and format of the Second High-Level Meeting of Culture Ministers, which will be held within the framework of COP29. Minister of Culture of Azerbaijan Adil Karimli, Minister of Culture and Youth of the UAE Salim bin Khalid Al Qassimi, and Culture Minister of Brazil Margareth Menezes participated in the discussions.
The culture ministers of Brazil and the UAE, who were also acquainted with the preparations for COP29, highly appreciated the ongoing efforts. They expressed confidence that COP29 would be the most memorable event in the series. During the meeting, the ministers exchanged ideas about side events, initiatives, concerts, and show programs planned within the framework of COP29.
Both ministers expressed their gratitude to the Azerbaijani side for constantly keeping these issues in focus and promoting them on the international stage.
