Mexico will attend COP29 to promote international cooperation on climate issues, Joel Hernandez, Undersecretary for Multilateral Affairs and Human Rights in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mexico, wrote on X, Report informs.
Hernandez met with the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Mexico, Mammad Talibov, and stated, “Mexico will participate in the solution of this global problem to promote international cooperation.”
Ambassador Talibov also shared on X that he presented Hernandez with an official invitation letter from the head of state, Ilham Aliyev, addressed to Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, inviting her to participate in COP29.
