'Listen to the Future' exhibition for children held on sidelines of COP29

The Azerbaijani Ministry of Youth and Sports along with UNICEF Azerbaijan, organized the "Listen to the Future" exhibition on World Children's Day on the sidelines of COP29 in Baku.

Report informs that the exhibition, held at the Youth House pavilion in the Green Zone of COP29, showcased children's thoughts and ideas about climate action from more than 20 countries through artificial intelligence.

Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov, UNICEF Representative in Azerbaijan Dr. Saja Farooq Abdullah, and young climate ambassadors attended the opening ceremony of the exhibition, prepared by UNICEF's Regional Office for Europe and Central Asia.

Minister Farid Gayibov stated that the Youth House operating within COP29 has become a true home for youth and children in the Green Zone.

UNICEF Representative in Azerbaijan Saja Farooq Abdullah emphasized that young people's ideas and solutions for making the world a better place and reducing the impacts of climate change should be taken into consideration:

"Today, we see artworks showing how children envision the future from a climate perspective. Their views should be at the center of climate action."
