Jacob Werksman: EU working actively on developing NDCs

The EU is actively working on developing Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs), Jacob Werksman, the chief negotiator of the Paris Agreement, said responding to Report's question.

He said the parties should develop their NDCs upon return home as this is the signal the EU is sending them.

Werksman also noted that negotiations in this direction at COP29 are proceeding in a positive way.
