Indian religious leader urges all faiths to unite for environmental protection

At the plenary session "World Religions for a Green Planet" during the Global Summit of Religious Leaders in Baku, India's prominent spiritual figure, Swami Jyotirmaya, passionately called upon all religious communities to come together in protecting our planet.

Swami Jyotirmaya emphasized the importance of finding solutions for a sustainable future. He stated, "In the future, it is crucial to establish multilateral ties in cultural and economic aspects. Therefore, the unity of religious denominations, exchange of scientific data, and information sharing are vital."

The religious leader highlighted the significance of non-governmental organizations in combating climate change and its consequences, as well as safeguarding the environment. "Preserving nature is our personal obligation. Everyone should have climate initiatives. Let us unite, protect our nature, environment, and planet."
