UN staff are satisfied with the organization of the 29th session of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change Conference (COP29), which began its work on November 11 in Baku, said the head of the UN Global Compact for Azerbaijan, Samir Mammadov, Report informs.
He noted that the country's public has mobilized and perceives participation in organizing COP29 as a great pride.
He added that the event organizers show high responsibility and strive to improve every aspect of the work.
"We are satisfied with all aspects of the event. Around 200 guests gathered in our part of the conference. Representatives from various UN offices also expressed satisfaction with the organization. My colleagues are completely satisfied with the conference organization during both formal and informal discussions," Mammadov said.
