The latest report by the Turkish TV channel Haber Global is about the high interest of the international community in the UN climate conference COP29 taking place in Baku, Report informs.
The report notes that the summit is also called the financial COP, since the main agenda of the conference is how to provide the necessary financing to combat climate change, especially for vulnerable countries. It is indicated that 3,000 journalists from different countries are covering the event.
"The conference, which is attended by 72,000 people from 169 countries, is taking place at the Baku Olympic Stadium and in temporary zones created around it. Historical artifacts from the History Museum of Azerbaijan are presented in the corridors - from the entrance to the conference halls. Particular attention is drawn to the pavilions of countries where solutions to combat climate change are presented. Climate activists are holding events, hanging banners to draw attention to current problems," the report says.
