German official: Climate change has greater impact on water and food

Water and food are more affected by climate change than anything else in the world, Claudia Muller, Parliamentary State Secretary of Germany's Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture stated at a COP29 event titled "Launch of Baku Harmoniya Climate Initiative for Farmers: Empowering Farmers for Climate Resilience" held in Baku, Report informs.

"There is a need for broad awareness in the fight against climate change. We need to learn from each other to strengthen the food chain in the world. We welcome Azerbaijan's climate initiative and highly appreciate the fact that it integrates the connection between food, agriculture, and water into the agenda of activities within the COP29 framework," Muller noted.
