Fatma Varank: Azerbaijan demonstrated very high level of organizing COP29

Azerbaijan demonstrated a very high level of COP29 organization from a logistical perspective and facilitated important negotiations, Turkish Deputy Minister of Environment, Urban Planning and Climate Change and chief negotiator at COP29, Fatma Varank, told Anadolu Agency, Report informs.

She noted that COP29 participants discussed many important issues related to climate change, especially the fight against global warming.

She drew attention to the fact that Türkiye was represented at COP29 at a high level, with ministers, deputies, officials, representatives of academic circles and NGOs attending the conference in addition to President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Varank also said that around 60 panel discussions were held in the Turkish pavilion at COP29, where the country's solutions and goals in fighting climate change were presented, along with traditional arts such as ebru (water surface painting technique) and ceramic painting.
