The 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP 29), which will be held in Baku, may contribute to increased German activity in the Azerbaijani business sector, German Ambassador to Azerbaijan Ralf Horlemann said during an event of the Assembly of Members of the German-Azerbaijani Chamber of Commerce, Report informs.
He also expressed pride that Azerbaijan will host COP29.
Speaking about the record number of visas received by Azerbaijanis to travel to Germany last year, Horlemann noted that an increase in this figure in the coming years could significantly stimulate the development of bilateral relations between the two countries.
The 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP 29) will be held in Baku, Azerbaijan, in November 2024. The decision was made at the COP28 plenary meeting held in Dubai on December 11, 2023. Baku is expected to host up to 80,000 foreign guests.
