Baku has taken a significant step forward in its preparations for the upcoming 29th Conference of the Parties (COP29) by opening the Uniform Distribution and Accreditation Center (UDAC). The inauguration ceremony was attended by key figures, including Mukhtar Babayev, COP29 President-Designate and Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources, and Narmin Jarchalova, Chairpersonnof the Board and Chief Operating Officer of the COP29 Azerbaijan Operating Company, along with volunteers and media representatives.
The newly established center features dedicated zones for registration, accreditation card issuance, information services, and COP29 uniform distribution. The center will operate six days a week to accommodate the needs of participants and organizers.
During the opening ceremony, the COP29 Presidency was presented with their accreditation cards.
