COP29 president mulls impact of climate change on health systems with WHO chief

COP29 President-designate, Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan Mukhtar Babayev has exchanged views with World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus on the impact of climate change on global health systems, Report informs.

"COP29 President-Designate Mukhtar Babayev met with Dr. Tedros, Director-General of the World Health Organization, to discuss the profound impact of environmental destruction and climate change on global health systems," according to COP29 page on X.
