COP29 Presidency commits to prioritizing Africa's needs

The COP29 team participated in the African Conference on Carbon Markets, which involved many stakeholders.

According to Report, which cites the official COP29 page on the social network X, during the conference, the team presented the main principles of its presidency on the African continent.

"At the Africa Multi-Stakeholder Conference on Carbon-Markets, the COP29 Presidency addressed the operationalisation of Art. 6 of the Paris Agreement, and showed that Africa’s needs and concerns are at the heart of the COP29 Presidency’s activities and efforts," the post reads.
