COP29 Chief Negotiator mulls COP29 priorities with US Treasury official

COP29 chief negotiator, Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Yalchin Rafiyev, discussed climate financing issues with the Acting Deputy Assistant Secretary of the US Treasury, Lida Fitts, according to Report.

"Productive meeting between Yalchin Rafiyev, COP29 Chief Negotiator, and Lida Fitts, Acting Deputy Assistant Secretary of the US Treasury. Focused on advancing climate finance, transparency, and building consensus ahead of COP29 in Baku. Positive momentum for enhanced cooperation and ambitious outcomes," COP29 Presidency said on X.
