COP29 Azerbaijan Operating Company (OC) has been awarded the international ISO 45001 management system certificate as a result of an external audit process conducted by the global company Bureau Veritas Certification Holding SAS, which specializes in independent inspection, auditing, certification, and risk management.
COP29 Azerbaijan OC told Report that the certificate was presented by Nahla Abid, an official of Bureau Veritas visiting Azerbaijan, during a meeting with Narmin Jarchalova, the Chief Operating Officer of COP29 Azerbaijan OC.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the importance of establishing a safe work environment. Abid noted that this international certificate was obtained owing to COP29 Azerbaijan OC's sustainable strategic approach and high-level implementation of occupational safety measures. She stated that it is commendable that the Operating Company acts in accordance with international standards in this field. Jarchalova emphasized that this achievement will continuously contribute to improving working conditions and further enhancing safety.
