Some 95% of the Blue Zone has been completed at the Baku Olympic Stadium, where COP29 will be held in Baku, said Ismayil Isayev, a member of the Coordination Council of the COP29 Operations Company, Report informs.
According to Isayev, the Blue Zone is fully prepared for the implementation of sessions: "This zone will be under the full control of the UN."
Isayev added that the Green Zone organized by the COP29 Presidency will operate to expand the activities of guests visiting the world's most important climate conference in this regard and to promote individual dialogue on climate change: "Tickets for this zone will be put on sale free of charge on certain days, it will be open to the public. The Green Zone is an inclusive space that creates dynamic opportunities for representatives of various sectors to conduct constructive dialogue and establish effective cooperation relations. This zone will help promote active and decisive participation of both public and private sectors, and showcase solutions, modern technology, advanced innovation, and entrepreneurial initiatives to combat the global climate crisis."
