Tourists from Kyrgyzstan show great interest in visiting Azerbaijan, Kylychbek Rysaliev, head of the Tourism Development Support Fund of Kyrgyzstan, told Report.
Discussing the cooperation between Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan, the official emphasized the importance of establishing direct flights between Baku and Bishkek. "This will contribute to the growth of mutual tourist flow," he stated.
"We are witnessing an increasing interest from Kyrgyzstan citizens in visiting Azerbaijan. Many of our people want to visit your country, and in turn, we are eagerly awaiting tourists from Azerbaijan," Rysaliev noted. "To facilitate this, we have prepared several projects to ensure their safety and comfort. For instance, we have set up information stands at the airport and introduced 'GoBus' routes that allow travelers to reach desired destinations at affordable prices using comfortable minibusses."
According to Rysaliev, Kyrgyzstan offers a variety of tourism options for visitors. "Firstly, there are tours of the capital city on special buses equipped with audio guides providing information about the sights. Moreover, our country is famous for its natural beauty: mountain valleys, ecological trails, and of course, the unique Issyk-Kul lake, one of the main wonders of Central Asia," he highlighted.
