At the ongoing COP29 in Baku, guests have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the beauty of Azerbaijan's nature through American photographer Brad Wilson's captivating photo exhibition, "The Other World," presented by the Heydar Aliyev Center in the Blue Zone, Report informs.
Brad Wilson, whose classic animal photographs are held in numerous private and museum collections worldwide, showcases a unique collection of works at COP29. The distinctive feature of these photographs lies in the animals being captured against a black background, free from distractions and context. This approach fosters an intimate dialogue between the viewer and the images, reminding people of their eternal connection with nature.
In preparation for the exhibition, Brad Wilson visited Azerbaijan in August, exploring the Alpaca farm in Shamakhi, the Safari Park, and capturing the majestic Karabakh horses at the Bina Equestrian Center in Baku.
During the presentation at COP29, photographer Brad Wilson and curator Olga Daniele expressed their gratitude to the Heydar Aliyev Center for supporting their immersive experience of Azerbaijan's nature and rich culture.
Brad Wilson described Azerbaijan as "a place that embraces modern ideas in art, architecture, and lifestyle while honoring and remembering its past." His photographs have been featured in articles and advertisements by renowned organizations such as Microsoft, Apple, Sony, CNN, CBS News, World Wildlife Fund (WWF), and Greenpeace.
