Baku testing specia vehicle routes in preparation for COP29

As part of the preparations for the highly anticipated COP29 climate conference, set to take place in Baku from November 11 to 22 this year, the city is conducting thorough transportation management monitoring to ensure smooth and safe traffic flow during the event.

The press service of the COP29 Azerbaijan Operating Company told Report that the monitoring involves testing the movement of buses and special COP29 vehicles along routes connecting the Heydar Aliyev Center, Heydar Aliyev International Airport, and accommodation sites for conference participants. The testing is being carried out today from 11:00 to 15:30.

The monitoring activities, jointly organized by the Azerbaijan COP29 Operating Company, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency, involve over 20 vehicles and 15 buses.
