Baku hosts panel on climate change impact on transboundary water management

As part of the Baku Climate Action Week, a panel session titled "The Impact of Climate Change and Paradigm Shifts on Transboundary Water Management" was held to address the pressing issues surrounding water resources in the Caspian Sea and Central Asia regions.

According to Report, the event focused on discussing measures to eliminate shortcomings in water resource management and to reduce and prevent pollution in the Caspian Sea.

The panel featured prominent speakers, including Aliagha Azizov, Head of the Science and Innovation Sector at the Azerbaijan State Agency of Water Resources; Anton Aristov, Managing Director at Boston Consulting Group (BCG); Aygun Israilova, a researcher at Baku State University (BSU); and Rovshan Abbasov, a member of the Public Council under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources and an environmental expert.
