A "National High-Level Event on Climate Change and Children" was held at ADA University.
According to Report, discussions on the impact of climate change on children took place during the conference.
The event featured speeches by UN High-Level Climate Champion for COP29 Nigar Arpadarai, COP29 Youth Climate Champion Leyla Hasanova, UNICEF Regional Advisor on Sustainable Development and Climate Maria Osbeck, Youth Climate Ambassador Oruj Bayramov, Azerbaijani representative of UNICEF's Department of Global Communications Rashad Huseynov, Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Population of Azerbaijan Hidayat Abdullayev, Chief of Staff of the Ministry of Science and Education Matin Karimli, Head of Department at the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources Sayyara Mammadova, Consultant of the Health Organization Department of the Ministry of Healthcare Aynura Zeynalova, and representative of the Ministry of Youth and Sports Narmin Aslanbekova.
The event concluded with discussions involving the participants.
