Bahrain minister stresses need to establish global carbon emissions management system

It is necessary to establish a global carbon emissions management system, Bahrain's Minister of Environment and Oil, Mohamed Bin Mubarak Bin Daina, said at an event within COP29.

According to Report, the minister stressed that the existing problems in this area include high costs of carbon management, lack of a unified regulatory structure and financing mechanism for its reduction, as well as insufficient institutional capacity to develop and implement necessary solutions.

"We need a financial structure and clear framework to accelerate carbon management processes. It's crucial for supporting relevant projects," emphasized the guest.
