Since Azerbaijan was chosen to chair the COP29 climate conference, the country has seen a remarkable mobilization of resources across various sectors, according to Vladanka Andreeva, UN Resident Coordinator in Azerbaijan, according to Report.
She made this statement during the "Tenth of the 29 Climate Conversations - Road to COP29", jointly organized by UNFPA and the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population.
"The UN office in Azerbaijan continues to support the country and stakeholders for the successful hosting of COP29," Andreeva affirmed. She emphasized the importance of today's event, as climate change significantly impacts demographic dynamics worldwide.
