Azerbaijan discussed potential opportunities for economic and investment cooperation with the European Union on the sidelines of COP29, Report informs, citing the Azerbaijani Economy Ministry.
The discussions took place during a meeting between Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov and European Commission's Director-General for Neighborhood and Enlargement Negotiations Gert Jan Koopman.
During the meeting, further development of EU-Azerbaijan cooperation and regional partnership were discussed. Azerbaijan's contribution to addressing global challenges and steps taken to promote the green agenda were reviewed.
The parties discussed economic reforms implemented to ensure sustainable development, the importance of regional projects, and global partnership priorities.
