Andreeva: UN will continue to support Azerbaijan's climate action measures

The UN is committed to supporting Azerbaijan's measures to combat climate change even after the COP29, UN Resident Coordinator in Azerbaijan Vladanka Andreeva told the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Summit: Public-Private Partnerships for Sustainable Development held in Baku Wednesday, Report informs.

“Our climate conversations are about strengthening national dialogue and climate action and a just transition. Today's event is our 15th climate conversation. As UN family, we are committed to supporting the COP29 presidency and engaging with all stakeholders to ensure that climate action not only continues to accelerate but continues beyond COP29,” she said.

Andreeva emphasized that today's event aims to promote dialogue and cooperation so that public and private organizations can share strategies to find better solutions.
