The issue of fair carbon pricing is crucial for developing countries, Pakistan's Ministry of Climate Change representative Aisha Humera said at the event "Towards Global Carbon Pricing - How to Make it Fair?" within the framework of COP29 in Baku.
According to Report, she said principles of social justice must be considered in the pricing regulation process.
Humera noted that it is particularly necessary to protect the interests of low-income countries and strengthen international cooperation in this direction.
