The participation of the delegation from Afghanistan in the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29) in Azerbaijan was a great success, Head of the National Environmental Protection Agency of Afghanistan Matiul Haq Khalis said at a press conference in Kabul, Report informs.
He noted that the participation of the Taliban delegation in COP29 was significant in terms of recognizing Afghanistan as one of the most vulnerable countries to the issue of climate change.
He also said that information about the current situation in Afghanistan was provided during the summit.
