Forty-eight percent of students worldwide choose environmentally sustainable universities, Ben Sowter, Vice President of QS Quacquarelli Symonds, said during an event on the results of "World's Best Universities Ranking: Sustainability 2025" within the framework of COP29, Report informs.
According to Ben Sowter, university rankings are becoming increasingly influential.
Sowter noted that 33% of students are even willing to pay extra to choose these universities.
"The demand for green skills has tripled. Graduates with this knowledge can find jobs more quickly," he added.
