Pirallahi Industrial Park may soon have new residents, Chairman of the Board of the Agency for the Development of Economic Zones Elshad Nuriyev said in an interview with Report.
According to Nuriyev, the Pirallahi Industrial Park is mostly intended for the medical and pharmaceutical industries, so the reforms carried out in the healthcare system affect a lot here.
“Here an institutional approach is needed. We cannot root out the problem only by attracting companies engaged in the healthcare sector, by opening enterprises. Clinical trials should be carried out, and research and development centers should be improved to attract international pharmaceutical companies. In this direction, the Ministry of Health, together with the Ministry of Economy, is doing very serious work. I hope that the number of enterprises in the Pirallahi Industrial Park will continue to grow,” he said.
