Volume of cargo transportation by road up by 10% in Azerbaijan

In January–November 2023, over 4,927,664 tons (10% more year-on-year) of cargo worth $11.669 billion (18% more YoY) were transported by road in Azerbaijan, Report informs, citing the country’s State Customs Committee.

In the eleven months of 2023, 1,837,121 (7% more YoY) tons of goods worth $1.643 billion (2.7% more YoY) were exported by road transport in Azerbaijan.

Meanwhile, 3,090,543 tons (11.5% more YoY) of goods worth $9.357 billion (21% more YoY) were imported by road transport.
