Uzbekistan to study Azerbaijan's experience on economic reforms

The book "Economic Growth," authored by Vusal Gasimli, Executive Director of the Center for Economic Reforms Analysis and Communication (CERAC), was presented at the Center for Economic Analysis and Reforms, the think tank of the Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan, Report informs.

Gasimli said that although various factors ensure economic growth, each country must have its challenges and development strategies.

A specific model for the management of the economic reforms established under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev aroused great interest in the event. The event highlighted coordination between the generation and evaluation of reforms, the full digitalization of the process, decision-making based on large databases, and Azerbaijan's representation within the group of the most reformist countries in the world.

The sides decided to organize a visit of the Uzbek delegation to Azerbaijan to study the Azerbaijani economic reform management model in detail. Obid Hakimov, head of the Center for Economic Analysis and Reforms of Uzbekistan, stressed the importance of cooperation and knowledge exchange between think tanks of friendly countries such as Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan.
