As part of the private sector development program, a memorandum of understanding will soon be signed between the US Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Small and Medium Business Development Agency of Azerbaijan (KOBIA) to strengthen micro, small and medium businesses, Report informs citing KOBIA Chairman of the Board Orkhan Mammadov.
“Among the main areas of cooperation, reflected in the memorandum, are training for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, increasing their organizational potential and the quality of business management, studying the access of small and medium-sized businesses to financial resources. Other educational and networking activities will cover areas such as capacity building for business and industry associations,” Mammadov said.
