The Terezi Ukraine-Azerbaijan Business Association and the Investment Promotion Office under the Cabinet of Ministers (UkraineInvest) have signed a memo of cooperation aimed at interaction in attracting investments to Ukraine.
Report's Eastern European bureau informs that the memorandum is primarily designed to strengthen cooperation between the parties in attracting direct investments and exchanging advanced experience in this sphere.
As an independent consultant, UkraineInvest's goal is to help form an image of Ukraine as a country safe and attractive for direct foreign investments and investors. Terezi's activity is aimed at the development of economic and entrepreneurial ties between Ukraine and Azerbaijan and establishing export and import relations.
The parties defined the mutual support in the organization of joint events to improve the investment climate and the business relations between the two countries as one of the stages in implementing the memorandum.
During the event, it was noted that the memorandum signing is essential for the parties and all business representatives of Ukraine and Azerbaijan and is a start for new projects, which will get comprehensive support and access to new markets. This cooperation will bring significant advantages to the Ukrainian economy.
The memorandum was signed by Viktoria Karp and Sergey Chivkach. The association is led by famous Azerbaijani activist Jalal Huseynov.
