Turkiye increases export of peanuts to Azerbaijan by over 50 times

In January-February 2022, Azerbaijan imported 1,174 tons of peanuts worth $1.56 million.

According to Report’s calculations based on the data of the State Statistics Committee, compared to the same period last year, imports increased in value terms by 33.4%, in quantitative terms - by 34.2%.

During the reporting period, 851.35 tons of products were imported from Uzbekistan for $1.1 million, from Turkiye - 154 tons for $222,680, from Brazil - 75 tons for $123,140, from Argentina - 50 tons for $74,620, from India - 27 tons for $45,340.

Compared to a year earlier, deliveries from Uzbekistan increased by 26.8% and 25.8%, respectively, from Turkiye - by 51.33 times and 28.3 times, from Brazil - by 0% and 7%, from Argentina - by 2 times and by 86.5%, from India decreased by 61.4% and 57.6% respectively.
