Digital Silk Road is an opportunity for global recognition of Azerbaijani brands, Hande Zop Erol, deputy general manager for Business Development and Customer Management at Turkcell Global Bilgi, said at the E-Commerce Day of Azerbaijan 2025 event in Baku, according to Report.
"This is also an important road for Azerbaijan. We fully support Azerbaijan in this digital journey and want it to become a regional hub by strengthening its position in this area," she noted.
She added that more than 80% of the population of Azerbaijan has access to the internet, and e-commerce in the country has shown a growth of more than 40% in 2023.
