Turkish company operating in Karabakh to employ Azerbaijani students

Students of the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction will be involved in the projects of Turkiye's PROYAPI Engineering and Consultancy firm in Karabakh.

Report informs that this issue was discussed in a meeting with the Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company Akif Aygen and the rector of the University Gulchohra Mammadova.

Turkish businessman Ali Insan Genc also participated in the meeting.

Mammadova noted that the involvement of students studying engineering at the University in large-scale projects in our liberated territories could create exceptional opportunities for them to acquire practical knowledge.

Aygen gave extensive information about the directions of activity of PROYAPI, the projects implemented, and especially the works carried out in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan. The guest noted that currently, large-scale road and tunnel constructions, preparation of reservoir projects, and similar works are being carried out in Karabakh and East Zangazur territories.

The meeting discussed issues of joint cooperation in detail and reviewed potential and prospective opportunities.

At the end of the meeting, a memorandum on cooperation was signed between the University and PROYAPI company. The memorandum envisages several directions of cooperation, including the involvement of the University's students in practice at the PROYAPI company, career opportunities for university graduates, organization of joint conferences and symposiums, and exchange of experience.
