“Major part of the Russian regions are ready to buy Azerbaijani products,” Trade Representative of Russia in Azerbaijan Ruslan Zagitovich said at the ceremony of the departure of the first cargo train at the Lajat station in the Khachmaz district, Report informs.
According to him, the Agroexpress project diversifies the opportunities of the Russian regions to buy Azerbaijani products: “I’m confident that the project will be implemented regularly and will serve to strengthen our trade and economic ties.”
In 2021, the trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Russia increased by 12% to $3 billion.
