Trade potential of Turkic-speaking countries estimated at $500B

The Zangazur corridor has great potential for increasing trade within the framework of the Organization of Turkic States, the Deputy Minister of Economy, Sahib Mammadov, said at the Karabakh Business Forum held in Shusha, Report informs.

“Azerbaijan has made a great contribution to the development of the trade and economic relations of the member countries of the Organization of Turkic States. The main principle of cooperation between the Turkic states is cooperation in the trade and economic fields. Today, the value of the annual trade turnover of Turkic-speaking countries is $5 billion, of which 15% falls to the share of Azerbaijan. We think the trade potential between these countries is $500 billion,” Mammadov said.
