Trade mission from Belgium to Azerbaijan to be organized in November

It is planned to organize a trade mission from Belgium to Azerbaijan in November of this year, Report informs, citing the Ministry of Economy.

This issue was discussed in the meeting of First Deputy Minister Elnur Aliyev with the Belgian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Michel Peetermans.

Aliyev emphasized the development of Azerbaijan's relations with the countries of the European Union, including the Kingdom of Belgium, noted that mutual official visits and negotiations are important in the expansion of economic cooperation, and pointed out that there are opportunities for strengthening cooperation in various fields of the economy, including the pharmaceutical industry, agriculture and the participation of Belgian companies in green energy projects in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan, as well as in the Alat Free Economic Zone, the Araz Valley Economic Zone, and Aghdam industrial parks.

The ambassador said that his country attaches importance to the development of relations with Azerbaijan and shared his views on new areas of cooperation and the potential of joint initiatives.
