Tanja Drobnik: Joint production can open market opportunities for Azerbaijan, Slovenia

The fields of digitalization, the pharmaceutical industry, food production, and agricultural technologies hold significant potential for fostering cooperation between Azerbaijan and Slovenia, Tanja Drobnik, Secretary of Slovenia's SPIRIT Slovenia Business Development Agency, told Report.

Drobnik highlighted the importance of these areas in enhancing business ties between the two countries:

"Today, an Azerbaijan-Slovenia business forum is being held in Baku, with participation from five Slovenian companies. Their activities focus on construction, automation, electronic information technologies, and agricultural drone production. These companies are primarily interested in expanding market access by organizing joint production in Azerbaijan or Slovenia," Drobnik stated.

She also stressed that digitalization offers substantial prospects for business growth:

"Digitalization is one of the key sectors that can significantly contribute to business development. Additionally, the pharmaceutical industry remains a priority for cooperation. However, in my personal opinion, the greatest potential lies in food production and agricultural mechanization. Collaboration in these areas could greatly strengthen economic relations between Azerbaijan and Slovenia," she added.
