Special Representative: We hope to create 150,000 jobs in Karabakh

"We hope to create 150,000 jobs in the Karabakh economic region alone," Emin Huseynov, the President's Special Representative for the liberated territories of the Karabakh economic region (except for Shusha city), said at the international scientific-practical conference "Naftalan - Source of Synergy of Health and Tourism: New Realities in the Region" held in Naftalan, Report informs.

"The effectiveness of mine maps provided by Armenia is 25%. Contamination of liberated areas with mines and unexploded ordnance slows down the restoration work. Fuzuli Airport was built in 8 months - a record time. The construction of 2 hospitals in Aghdam and Fuzuli has commenced. In the near future, the palace of Panahali Khan will be restored. Tourism development concepts for Sugovushan, Tugh, and Hadrut have been prepared. Private companies have started constructing a hotel in Aghdam. The city is planned to be turned into a business center after restoration. The equestrian center to be built in Aghdam will also boost the development of tourism. The nature of Karabakh will stimulate the development of ecotourism here," the Special Representative said.
