The sixth session of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission between the government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland on economic cooperation has ended, Report informs.
A protocol was signed at the end of the meeting.

The sixth session of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission between the government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland on economic cooperation has kicked off, Report informs.
Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov said that today’s discussions will open new opportunities in terms of the interests of both countries.
According to him, the trade turnover between Azerbaijan and the UK increased sharply and exceeded $1 billion in 2022: “In 11 months of this year, the two countries conducted trade transactions worth $734 million. Azerbaijan mainly exports crude oil and equipment to Great Britain. 662 British companies in the fields of energy, industry, transport, construction, agriculture, and trade are operating in our country today.”
