The Japanese cosmetics company Shiseido has decided to suspend the supply of its products to Russia due to the current situation in Ukraine, the company said, Report informs.
"We are deeply shocked to witness the 2 million small children, women, and elderly escaping in fear for their lives and crossing the border into neighboring countries, leaving their loved ones behind in Ukraine," the company stated.
"We have decided to immediately suspend export shipments of our products to Russia from Europe which is our export hub of all products going into Russia. We will also suspend new investments in Russia such as advertising and promotions."
On March 8, AFP reported that the French company L'Oreal, one of the world's largest cosmetics manufacturers, intends to suspend the operation of its stores in Russia.
